OK, does anyone else here eat a lot of yogurt? I eat low carb, lite, fat free and low sugar yogurts for mon-fri breakfast, lunch and snack, then I come home and have a regular dinner with at leat 2/3 veggies.
But I am only down 3 lbs.
I feel like giving up!!!

Maybe just me sweetie, but I think you need more than just yogurt for breakie, lunch and snack. I think you need real food! Don't get me wrong, I love yogurt and have it for a snack fairly frequently, but I don't think you can live on the stuff. Not sure how you can be getting enough calories eating that way - just my thoughts!! Whatever you decide - good luck and never give up. Just change, tweak, and adjust until you find what works for you!! You will make it. :flowerforyou:0

well, I also eat granola in it nad sometimes I will have raw fruit and veggies with it or sliced ham and cheese, but I am just at a loss and not with the weight loss.
I just don't know what I am doing wrong!!!
I did so good on Atkins nad I know, plans do not work for very long, but maybe I could go back on it and get a jump start??

You're not getting enough food so that you system is in "starvation" mode. It is not sure when it will get food again so is stocking up. Have a good breakfast (eggs and whole wheat toast for example) a salad with protein (chicken breast or tuna) for lunch and a light dinner. That with a yogurt for dessert should show some results fairly quickly.0

Are you eating your calorie limit? If your plan says to eat say 1200 calories plus any exercise calories, you need to be sure and eat that many calories otherwise you body will go into starvation mode and that will keep you from losing weight.0

Are you reaching your goal for daily calorie intake? If you're not getting enough of what you need for your body to function... you won't lose weight.... but Yogurt is a good breakfast food. My nutritionist reminds me every time we meet to get lots of calcium because it promotes weightloss. I would try mixing it up with some different but healthy snacks... and eat a bigger lunch. Try whole wheat bread and some lean cut lunch meat.... paired with a fruit.
Good luck... I am down 13lbs total but it takes time!0 -
Me! I have had to boycott yogurt this week because I found I was eating soooo much of it & that was what I was starting to live on! I will go back to the individual package containers next week for portion control. Plus, they are a yummy snack when you freeze them for a bit!0

I can't keep up with my calories, it is just too much for me and I feel bloated....
I eat about 10 yogurts a week, sometimes less to give myself a break.
They are the snack size, not the big , (regular sized), ones.
Probably tyhe size you would pack in a kids lunch box.0 -
I love yogurt, i eat it everyday. But you are clearly not eating enough. Have a yogurt WITH breakfast, maybe have some oatmeal and fruit too!0

I EAT YOGURT JUST ABOUT EVERYDAY ALONG WITH COTTAGE CHEESE AND A SPRINKLE OF KASHI GRANOLA (SPICE ORCHARD OR MOUNTAIN MEDLEY). IT IS LIKE A DESSERT AND DELICIOUS. :bigsmile:0

I eat yogurt with granola for breakfast..actually a big filling bowl. But, I'll tell you I don't go in for all that low-fat, low cal, etc stuff because yogurt is great for you and has good fats and things that your body needs. When they strip it to make it low fat it's not really healthful anymore. Just my thoughts.0
