What exercises to do?

I have membership to 24 hour fitness but I am not willing to pay for a personal trainer. I need help on knowing what exercises/machines I should use there to help me lose weight and tone.
I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but area's of focus are butt and thighs mostly then arms. I also have to focus a lot on cardio endurance since I am in the military and have to run 2 miles in a certain time limit (I always cut it close to not passing)
Any help would be grateful.
