I just don't want to gain weight.....

I have about 80lbs to lose but i can't do it right now i feel to much pressure with my wedding coming up on 9/19/08. I just want to fit into my dress. The stress of having to lose weight before the big day back fired on me and i gained 15 pounds. At my dress fitting I had to go up a size, it made me feel so bad and I don’t want to put myself in the same place again when I go back for my final fitting 09/07. my goal right now is to track my calories and watch my weight so I don’t go up. When this wedding stuff is over I won’t have this stress to lose weight and I can go at my own pace.

First off....breathe....
Here is the thing....this isn't just about fitting into a dress....for most of us it's a bigger concern.
I totally understand the stress of wedding issues....if it makes you feel better my wedding could happen any day with very little notice and I have to be ready.....how's that for pressure.
I am sure you will look lovely on your wedding day. Use the resources here, get tips from others on the site, and use this as a place to help cope with stress....or workout to deal with the stress.
You can do this and long after the big day you'll be happy that you started earlier rather then later.....0 -
It's a stressful time because you and the rest of the world put so much pressure on your shoulders! Joining here is a great step and you'll be so glad you did! Add some resistance (weight) training to your week and you'll help your stress levels, your energy, the quality of your sleep and your overall sense of well-being.
Post as many rants, requests for support or topics that you want and you'll find a TON of support here. Just focus on one day at a time and making choices that allow you to feel good, energized and healthy and everything else (including feeling great about your big day) will fall right into place.

Remember that your fiance (and your friends and family) will be there because they love YOU. Just the way you are. If you want to lose for you, great, but then there should be less pressure! If you want to lose because you think it's expected of you, don't, because as I said before--everyone loves you for you!0
