Hi and welcome to the site. Can't offer any tips except keep within your calorie allowance and exercise more, even if it's just walking more or swimming. Good luck x

    Hey,

Welcome aboard, its a great site. You will get all he support you require and all the help that you need. You should make sure that you ask for advise for whatever reason, whenever you need to.,Everyone is so helpful and a world of knowledge is yours for the asking.
    My Tips would be

    Dilligently log your food.
Drink plenty of water.....then drink some more
Workout regularly...i tend to use the great outdoors the most...Im a fresh air junkie.
Weigh in the same time each week under the same conditions.
Eat small regular meals throughout the day....maybe 5/6 times per day.
Get a network of friends established and encourage them...they will do the same for you back....It makes a massive difference.
Try and get involved in one or more of the site challenges, again they provide support and some will set you daily/weekly goals, which will give you even more incentive.
    Finally...drink some more water.
    Good Luck and Best wishes.
  • Welcome! I just joined mfp today myself and already love this website. Great way to stay accountable for what you eat and do. My suggestion is to be realistic with goals and the timeframe you wish to obtain them. With food, I find eating meals that are high in protien and fiber helps me stay full longer. I don't tend to cheat as much. With exercise, find something you really enjoy doing like running. I love to jog when the weather warms up so I do it a lot without putting to much thought into it. I would recommend finding an activity you enjoy doing so it doesn't feel so much like you are working out, instead just having fun.

    Best of luck to you!

    Simone
