First topic: That was close.
Today is the first time I'm logging in in over a week. Probably closer to two or more. I honestly don't remember when I was here last. I've still been watching what I eat and working out (and have maintained my weight), but I really think I was on the verge of losing all of my progress. It's good to be back.

Second topic: I have a question.
I checked out Power 90 from the library, to see if I like it before I spend the money. It's non-renewable, and is only the first disk, so I only have it for about 3 weeks.
Is there a way to log the exercises in here? I have absolutely no idea how many calories I just burned doing sculpt 1-2, and the HRM I own only tells me heart rate, not calories burned. Any ideas?

Thanks everyone!

    1) Great job on getting back here!! And for not gaining while you were gone  It's good to have you back!
    2) I have NO idea...that whole thing is way too much for me to try at this point, and I don't think my neighbors would enjoy all the jumping around! LOL I would think some kind of high intensity cardio or circuit training, though.

    Good luck!! :drinker:

Welcome back! I am not familiar with the work out you did, but perhaps try searching under aerobics, choose your intensity and time and go from there. It would at least give you a rough estimate of calories burned, because anyone that knows the workout could only tell you what THEY burn, and of course it would be different depending on one's size, activity level, etc.

I don't mean to sound snarky, but why on earth did you get a HRM that does not tell the calories burned? Isn't that the point of owning one? If you have some extra cash, go get a Polar F4, I got mine for around $80 and I love it.

I log it under circuit training on the strength training days and aerobics on the cardio days.

i bet a clever person would be able to give you a mathematical foruma to work out how many cals you burned depending on your average heartrate and your weight. sadly im not that person lol.

its good that you have come back : )

I totally understand what you're saying - I got it 4 or 5 years ago. I have no idea if the calorie counting HRMs were available then, but I was working on interval training and was only concerned with seeing my HR fluctuate during a workout.

I was also on a pretty tight budget at the time.

I see, well hey I didn't even know that HRM's existed until a few years ago when I joined here.
