Parents, please help!!!

My daughter watched Anaconda one time when she was at her grandparent's house and I was really, really mad because this was not the first time grandpa watched a movie like that with her (another time it was The Lengend of Sleepy Hollow). Anyway, the only thing that worked was time. I know that sounds bad, but nothing else worked. She slept with me for like two weeks after Anaconda because she was sure the anaconda was under her bed waiting for her. Then she was kinda of on top of me sleeping because she was convinced it was now under my bed. I got zero sleep and was all cramped and kinked up in the mornings from no space! You just have to wait it out and be patient with the poor little guy! After these two times, I had a little talk with them and it has not happened again!
