Pure Protein Jello Snacks.

I havent tried these yet but stumbled upon it after I was e-mailed an offer for a coupon (sign up and get $1 off) this morning.

It's $4.99 for 3 so not super cheap but I wouldnt expect something with 23 g of protein in it to be. Only 100 calories as well.

Available at GNC only (including online) so I may check it out, see if its $4.99 in stores too or if Canada once again gets the short end of the stick :(

Their other products are neat as well, available in lots of US stores. Finally a pre-made protein drink for traveling (I'm planning on buying a couple for breakfast when I go to Niagara Falls for the weekend on Friday) that has 2x the protein of Special K protein shakes and other items like Ensure and Boost and 1/4 of the sugar and carbs, nice!

You can make these yourself way cheaper. Using a pack of sugar free instant jello mix and Body Fortress Whey protein shots. Replace 1/2 c of cold water with 2 protein shots. Each 1' cube of jello will have 4 grams of protein and about 18cals, each batch will have 54g of protein, 230cals, 47mg of sodium, and 2g of sugar.

It will cost you about 4 bucks a batch and 30 cents a serving

Are the protein shots like water consistency or like a tiny shake? I could always try it by using my protein powder, I would pre-make it with water and then add that mixture to jello mix. I never thought of that, nice! I think my concoction would still be ½ the protein since 4 servings of protein powder for 4 servings of jello seems a little thick.

Thanks for the idea, I will try it out and post back.
