I am peeved....heart monitor suggestion

I walked roughly 70 min and 5.5miles and the calorie counters I've checked out say anyway from 386-436 calories burnt!!!:angry::noway:

I didn't have the mojo to run any, and I know that increasing my intensity and decreasing duration (which I have typically been doing) will burn more. Just discouraging.:grumble:

BUT, I do know I can't go mock speed every day. I just needed to vent. I was just hoping to have burned 500+ as I am trying to get through this plateu.

I really need a heart monitor!!!!

    I have a BodyBugg that I LOVE! check out www.bodybugg.com if you hava no clue as to what one is. Short version- its a acurate device you wear on your upper arm that counts calories, steps and duration of moderate activity for you. They use them on Biggest Loser. I got mine from eBay.

    I have a simple f4 by polar and I love it.
    I can't believe I ever functioned without it. You will love it and it's a great investment.
