Scott Cutshall of Minneapolis went from 501 pounds to 232 in under three years, thanks to a special bike, soup for breakfast, and a lot of determination.

I read the article and my jaw just dropped. That's AMAZING.

Good for him-but as for his choice of foods

I still much prefer the MFP way--I like some variety in my foods.

Wow! That really is amazing. I really do think that bike builder was a hero. And I really feel like my goal is insignificant and I am a wimp for complaining.

    HOLY crap!

That guy is amazing, but I could not imagine eating the same thing every day! I loved when he said though, that food is just a part of the bigger picture...

That's a good story, very motivating!

My only observation of it would be that I doubt, that 1200 cals a day
will work for him very well once most of the fat is gone. When his body reaches out for
fat reserves to make up for the difference between his needs and what he is eating,
and the fat isn't there anymore, it's going to become harder for him. I hope hope hope he
realizes that, cuz he is such a great story up until now, I would HATE to see him falter. I'm
sure he realizes it, it sounds like he has a good grasp on his situation and man, to lose
    270 lbs in 2 years, that's amazing!
