I have been exercising for about 5 times a week for 5 weeks now. I been doing cardio & some weight training. Is it normal for me to gain weight instead of lose weight... it was kinda upsetting.

Yes, your probably gaining muscle which weighs 2 lbs to 1 lb of fat.. So that is pretty normal. remember when weight training you really need protein to protect and heal your muscles...Good Luck0

If you're keeping in your daily calorie goal, then maybe you're putting on muscle. Try measuring waist, hips and neck and recording those each week see if you see any difference.0
