I need some information lean protein

I am going to try to eat lean protein, fruits and vegetables. Does anyone have good ideas. I think I might get sick of grilled chicken and pork and streamed broccoli. Thank you

  • I have grilled chicken breast with cajun spicing, a salad made up of iceburg lettuce, capsicum, onion and the slightest bit of low fat fetta cheese with balsamic vinegar dressing! Its a treasure.
  • Here are some protein ideas:
    "Leanest"
    Fish: cod, flounder, haddock, orange roughy, grouper,
    tilapia, mahi mahi, tuna (yellowfin steak or canned in
    water), wild catfish
    Shellfish: crab, scallop, shrimp, lobster
    Gamemeat: deer, buffalo, elk
    Ground turkey or othermeat: ≥ 98% lean
    Meatless options:
    •egg whites
    •EggBeaters
    •Boca Burger,Morningstar Farms, or Garden
    Burger patties

    "Leaner"
    Fish: swordfish, trout, halibut
    Chicken: breast or white meat, without skin
    Ground turkey or othermeat: 95 – 97% lean
    Turkey: light meat

    "Lean"
    Fish:salmon,tuna (bluefin steak), farmed catfish,
    mackerel, herring
    Lean beef: steak, roast, ground
    Lamb
    Pork chop or pork tenderloin
    Ground turkey or othermeat: 85 – 94% lean
    Chicken or turkey: dark meat

    Have you tried tofu? Its very versitile since it will take on the flvor of whatever seasoning/marinade you use with it.

    I also eat alot of Boca Vegan burgers, lean ground turkey or turkey cutlets, and FISH!!!
