As part of my insurance requirement for gastric bypass I had to attend a 12 week course offered through our local university where you worked with a nutritionist, an activity specialist and in internist. Imagine my surprise when I figured out I didn't need to go under the knife to be successful at weight loss. (oops) Twelve weeks into the program, I have lost 40 lbs and completely revamped my fat girl life. I have been logging my food with the programs software that is not nearly as user friendly as MFP; now I am switching over to MFP to complete my journey. All of me, on my aching knees made traditional exercise excruciating, so I got back in the swimming pool and have been doing 45 min of Aquasize 6 days a week. Thanks for letting me join all of you for this journey.
