Does anyone know how many cups 2 oz of dry orzo will make once it is cooked?

    I think the general rule is that it doubles. so 2 dry cups will be 4 cooked cups.

    I have no idea but I wanted to post b/c my 6 yo daughter and I LOVE spinach and orzo. It is one of our favorite meals. I usually cook a dry amount that is a multiple of 2. That way it is easy to figure out my individual calorie consumption.

    When I cook 4 ounces dry and eat half of it, I know that my calories consumed is the same as 2 ounces dry.

    Does that make sense?
