Bad weekend=light Monday?

I've had a few bad weekends in a row...and when I get to Monday, I can barely eat my calories WITHOUT the additional exercise calories I earn.

Should I be making an effort to still eat up these calories? Or is a light day justifiable considering the bad weekend junk?

Consider where your calories are coming from--even if you've eaten tons of calories from junk on the weekend, you probably didn't get the nutrients that MFP "assumes" you're getting from the calories you eat (the 1200-cal minimum is based on eating good food... if you're eating less than 1200 calories of good food you might be shorting yourself on nutrients). Of course, don't force yourself to eat, but don't rely on calories alone to determine how much you should be eating.

I had a ridiculously over the top weekend and wasn't hungry at all today. I still made myself eat 1200 net cals, but it's one of the only days I've ever not eaten my entire workout burn.

Yeah I'm just not hungry. I think my stomach still hurts from the weekend! Thanks for your help!
