I went into Manhattan today to play tourist a bit. I live a little over an hour away in CT. We took the train into Grand Central, walked to Times Square...went to the Hershey store and goofed off ( I didn't eat anything there 
), then went and had lunch at Hard Rock Cafe..YUM (They had calories for EVERY meal listed beside the dish!! YES!!), then we got to Toys R Us in Times Square and had a blast on the 3 stories of FUN!....and rode the ferris wheel! It's so cool, every car is of a toy or character....we rode in the Toy Story car! Then my friend Lillie got some candy and we came home! 
It's fun to do that sort of thing once in awhile. We live so close and never take advantage of the fun. If we go into the city it is to go to my MIL's place or to my hubby's work, etc....and on weekends, Pete never wants to go there because he works there all week....so this was perfect.
Like my pic?? I am kissing a stuffed Hershey Kiss dressed as the Statue of Liberty!! :laugh: :laugh: If you like that, check out the pic of my sleeping son in his stroller with the giant Hershey Syrup bank on him!!! It's in my profile pics!!! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

AAWWWWW...I LOVE NY! I was there for a week in May doing the tourist thing again! I love the Hershey Store! It smells sooooo good! And the ferris wheel...My 1st daughter had a Hot Wheels Pink Barbie Corvette when she was little. I took her to NY with me, and I got a picture of her at age 21 in the Pink Corvette on the Ferris Wheel! Sooo funny! I'm going to frame the pics together in a double frame! Can't wait to go do the tourist thing again someday!0

I didn't buy the violated Hershey's Kiss! If you see, I am AIR kissing by it because I don't know how many other people had "kissed" that kiss before me!!! hehehee....but..if you do happen to get THAT ONE...then know that essence of Tam is very close indeed!! :laugh: :laugh:
