Mexican food dilemma

So I did pretty bad tonight and went out to eat Mexican. I ordered a taco salad, but I only ate half of it (which still put me far over my calories, I'm sure). But the problem is I still have half of it left in a to-go box, and I don't know whether I should finish it tonight since I've already gone way over, or finish it tomorrow but screw tomorrow up too. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Eat the other half tomorrow, or even just eat a forth of it, and work your butt off at the gym0

Or give the rest to your dog?

Haha that's actually a wonderful idea except I don't have a dog. Maybe I should just trash the rest0 -
trash it!! 1 bad day is better then 2. when we go out to a Mexican place I alway order it and eat about 1/3 of it but, I order chicken fajitas no cheese, extra hot sauce, corn tortillas and ask them to just bring me 2 so I dont eat any more then that. I eat the rice and bean for a meal the next day for lunch.0

I do that when I go out for breakfast! I'll tell them NOT to bring me the toast, or ONLY 1 sausage or whatever.... I'll just eat it! I know this from experience. And at the end of the day, money isn't always the most important thing.0 -
Personally I don't like to eat prepared Mexican food the next day, so when I order it I make sure it's what I want, and if it's too much and I can't eat it, I do just like you and take it home.
If I can't eat it - I toss it over the fence to the skinny little dog next door that appreciates it as much as I did (LOL - my neighbors said it's ok once in a while).
If you're working out, and eating right, there is no reason to eat the rest IF you're still hungry BUT if you're eating it for the sake of NOT wasting it - I wouldn't eat anymore of it.

If it will put you over calories again, throw it out. If you accidentally hit an animal driving home one night, would then aim for one in the road the next night? Yes, an extreme example, but the same idea. Just because you messed up once doesn't mean you should purposefully do again the next day. If that doesn't help, just imagine how much sodium is probably in all of that restaurant Mexican food. Eat it again and you've just added an additional day to how long it will take to get it flushed out of your system.0

That extreme example was soooo funny! All I could think was "Oh wow" and laugh.
I agree though, nothing wrong with throwing it out if it's going to make you go over again. It's just a learning experience, trying to find balance. Working out like crazy the next day just to eat left overs doesn't give one a good routine, some sort of routine is good for a healthier lifestyle. Just an opinion.0 -
Thanks guys! I threw it out last night! After I had a few more bites haha0
