Most people say that to cure a headache you should drink lots of water. Well, the last three days where I have drank 8 cups I have had headaches. Shouldnt that be the other way around. I havent had anything but caffeine in over 2 months (minus the smoothie i had yesterday). I have a history of headaches but I hadnt had one in a while, until the other day when I drank at least 8 cups of water....

I mean I HAVENT had caffeine in more than 2 months. Sorry
  • I think it all depends when you are drinking the water. If you are drinking it throughout the day I don't think its your headache culprit, if you are dowing 64 or more ounces in a small amount of time, yep that's it.

Thats it! I was having three glasses of water (24 oz or something) in less than an hr) to get my water intake in. Thank you!

Too much water and drinking it too fast can most certainly bring on headaches. I was experiencing the same thing a while back. Now, I carry my water in a big water bottle with a straw. I get my daily water intake by taking small sips throughout the day. This is a better way to drink it especially with exercising. It will keep you more hydrated and it will also keep your sodium levels in control.

And it will keep you from having to pee every 10 minutes! That can greatly hinder a good workout!! :)
