I don't know why I was suddenly reminded of it, but when I was in high school, a bunch of us were talking about where we wanted to live when we grew up.

Me: I want to live in Burma. Somewhere exotic.

Boyfriend: I want to live in Bangladesh.

His Buddy: Why Bangladesh?

Boyfriend: Because it's next to Burma.



What's one of the sweetest things anyone's ever said to or about you?

    One of the sweetest things said to me was by my son, who had been a taciturn and surly teenager. Now in his mid 20's and with a wife, he called me and said: mother dearest, how are you today? I wanted to bottle that!

    My hubby told me a short time ago that he thanks God for me each day and he also thanks God that he "likes" me! Love is soo much sweeter when you are "in-like" too :-)
