I started Spinning Classes about 2-3 weeks ago. I've riden 3 times previous to last night and never had pain.. However for some reason today and overnight I've started aching in the shoulders and biceps... I don't understand what would have caused this last night as I did 60 minutes of Spinning and then went home?!?
Any clue why this would of happen or something I could do to prevent it in the future? I did warm up.

I would think it would be because while you're not seated & you're spinning, you're holding your body weight up with your arms which would put pressure on both those areas (shoulders & biceps)0

or if during your spinning you were putting more pressure on your upper body (leaning to the front more than reclining back on to the seat) you would also be putting the most pressure on your shoulders/biceps.0

I would guess that you have been putting to much weight on your arms when standing up. Its very easy to do especially when you have a lot of resistance on.0
