Working out while cleansing

I was sick as a dog last week and though I ate well and stuck to my goal, I gained a few pounds back from lack of moving my *kitten*. I am going to do a three day fruit and veggie and a small amt of protein only cleanse....can I work out too or should I lay low?

a healthy balanced diet is a better choice than a cleanse. What do you want to acheive with your cleanse?0

Just want to shed the two pounds I gained, and want to detox my body. I ate under my calories last week, but because I was sick with the flu, I didn't make the best choices (comfort food, processed food...whatever was easy because I had zero energy). Not doing pills or shakes or anything, my cleanse is just eating super clean the next few days...and water only to drink (which will be really hard for me but I will get through).0

You can go to GNC and get a 7 day cleanse this way you can stick to your diet. You can still work out and eat healthy i just did mine0

So you gained 2 lbs in 1 week and now you want to get rid of 2 lbs really fast to compensate. That isn`t nescessary. Stick to a healthy diet and exercise and those 2lbs will come off in 1 or 2 weeks anyways.
You say you are going to eat super healthy and take al lot of water, you should always be doing this. You should extended your "cleanse" and make it your normal diet.
You don`t need to do the detox for your body, your organs will take of that for you.0 -
I should clarify....I do eat really healthy and clean...just the next few days I meant I won't be having any carbs or red meat or anything...just veggies and fruit and maybe some chicken. Then I will gradually add back the whole grains and proteins : )0
