A work in progress

Hi! I'm 28 and recently married. Two years ago, I was living with a roommate who was extremely overweight and realized that the things I didn't like about her were the things I didn't like about myself. I'm 5' 9 and I weighed 235 pounds. I lay awake that night and cried and then when I got up in the morning I decided to do something about it. I immediately went out and bought a few work out dvd's and a book on nutrition. I lost 15 pounds in that first month. Three months later, I was down almost 30 pounds and then I hit my first plateau. I joined a gym, got a trainer, started learning more about nutrition and health and am down to 180 pounds. I still work with a trainer once a week and have learned so much about myself, my body and my limits. I am excited for the future and I know that I can continue to do this!
