It is an excellent reminder!

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world.

I like the idea of a plateau being "Practice" for Maintenance. :drinker:

It definitely puts a whole new light on stalls doesnt it? lol. I guess as long as you are plateaued, you arent gaining either, and thats good. :)

I hope I am not jinxing myself, but I still have not plateaued. Keep waiting for it, but it's been nearly 12 weeks. Shouldn't I have plateaued by now? Any thoughts?

I never did plateau in 18 months. Maybe because I only weighed once a month, maybe because every time I was able to do something like walk 10 minutes I immediately increased to walking 15 minutes then increasing again when I could, or maybe because of the way the Curves Smart Program is set up? I don't know. Even the Trainer at Curves said "How are you doing this?" when she measured me one month and I had lost inches and pounds AGAIN.

Wow, LJ, that is great and amazing, 18 months. Well maybe it doesn't happen to everyone!! I hope I have the same success!!

Since you were nice enough to respond to my post, I will take the fall, and be the thread killah. It's what we do best!!
