Motivation and Mini Goals

Up until about 2 weeks ago I was doing really well. I had lost about 8 pounds with myfitnesspal, and about 20 total since I started my weight lose journey. Unfortunately I've gained back about 12 pounds and I am not at all happy about it! I have been eating bad and not working out. Today I am getting pack on track but I've decided to start setting mini-goals for myself. With these goals I'm going to try to get down to a certain amount of weight by a certain date, and if I do then I will get a reward. If not, I get nothing :(. I'm hoping this will motivate me to not only lose weight and stay on track but will also help me not to spend money so much! So, here are my goals! Anyone else doing anything similar?

Current Weight (as of this morning 3-23): 224 pounds
1st Mini Goal= 214 by April 22nd, Get a new pair of running shoes!
2nd Mini Goal=204 by May 30th, Get a pair of Toning Resistance workout pants
3rd Mini Goal=190 by July 1st, Buy plane ticket to visit BFF in California!!

I'm going to start with those for now..hopefully I can make them!
