MyFitnessPal app

Hi! I'm 17, 196.6 lbs, and 5'3 and on the app it says I'm suppose to eat 1200 calories a day but on here, using the BMR, it says I'm suppose to eat about 1640 calories. I don't know which to go by. Should I up my calories on the app or should I keep it the same?

What "app" are you talking about? The MFP mobile app goals will match the MFP website goals. You should do whatever MFP tells you based on the settings you entered in your goals.0

The MFP App is setting your caloric goal based on your starting weight/goal weight and the number of pounds you wanted to lose per week. If your settings were to lose 2 or more pounds per week that would be why MFP caloric goal is so low.0
