I never thought I'd be complaining that all my pants are too big. One of my goals when I started this journey in August was to fit into my skinny clothes again. Even they are too big now.

I'm between sizes and don't want to go out and spend a lot of money on clothes I'm only going to be able to wear for a few months. I literally had 2 people approach me at work today and tell me that my pants looked like they were hanging on me; and the pair I wore today is a pair that still halfway fits and I feel comfortable in. One lady even went so far as to tell me I needed to give her my pants--she's really cool though and I know she was only joking.

On the plus side, there is a huge consignment sale happening thismonth where I live and this week everything is 50% off. I'm going there tomorrow on my lunch hour and hopefully find some good deals to get me through.

Thanks go all of you for your love and support. I know I could not have come this far without you guys!

Great job! Have you thought about bringing your great skinny clothes to a tailor? They might be able to take your favorites in for a cheaper cost than buying brand new.

I am in the exact same boat! My skinny jeans are consistantly falling down, my tight jeans are falling down, my old regular pants don't have a chance of fitting anymore.. But the next size down is still a little too tight! Owell, dresses and tights work well still!

Thanks for all the encouragement! I found several great deals at the consignment sale yesterday. I ended up with 4 pair of pants and 1 skort for about $15. I didn't realzie how in-between sizes I am until yesterday. I have a couple pair of 16 pants at home that fit fine now. But yesterday everything I bought was size 12 and 14.

@Shan--thanks for suggesting a taylor. I have several items of clothing that I just bought last summer and only wore a few times that I really like. I'm hoping I can get them taylored down so I can get some more wear out of them.
  • I'm all about hand me downs!!!! A friend at work is also losing weight and is just a couple sizes smaller than me and has been giving me all the clothes she is shrinkin out of! Woooohooooo!!! It was like Christmas at my house the other day. Clothes are too expensive to go buy every time you go down 1 or 2 sizes. Glad to hear you found some good deals at the consignment!

Everything at the consignment sale was 75% off starting tonight. I went back and got 5 shirts, a workoutshirt, and a pair of shoes for $5 and some change. Now I'm ready for warmer weather so I can wear my "new" clothes! Woo Hoo!
