Here's some motivation if you haven't lost much yet

I have been wavering between an 8 and 10 pound loss for 2 weeks now and was starting to feel a little down about the scale not permanently moving. So last night I happened to pick up a gallon jug and thought to myself, "Hey, I have lost this weight in fat over the past month or so!" as a gallon weighs roughly 8 pounds.
It lifted my spirits, so from now on whenever I get discouraged I am going to find something that weighs roughly what I have lost, pick the object up, and put my loss in perspective. My cat weighs 12 pounds so he is my next target.

actually seeing how much you've lost is a great way to do it. I like to think of mine as blocks of butter.
When its all gone im going to put 80 lbs in a back pack and run with it on just to show myself what I'd done to my body!0 -

Great idea! I have hit a plateau myself..lost so much in the first couple weeks and now I'm stuck. That is good motivation though, thanks for the idea0
