This morning I am in a funk. I am feeling so deprived from my 5000 calories to 1500. It's so soon for me to be feeling this way...I am feeling depressed..what I have to think about it is I was severely depressed when I ate like there was no tommorow. Then I felt guilty for the rest of the day.:ohwell: Be kind to yourself Dove Don't feel sorry for yourself either. Just take today as if you are healing from a surgery..it takes time to heal. Healing is a step you go through while getting rid of all the junk you are used to eating and the amounts were enormus. Remember you are going through a process that takes time. ONE MINUTE AT A TIME AND EVERY STEP YOU TAKE WILL HELP THROUGH THE HEALING PROCESS. HAVE A BLESSED DAY TODAY :indifferent:

Take time to love yourself and know that you are worth it! No twinkie, soda or burger is worth your happiness! He believes in you and so do I. Chin up, Dove! : )0

Hang in there Dove, it is a learning process and takes time to get use to it. I have been using this site since last fall, and I STILL mess up. Don't give up, we can do this..Like the song "Just one day at a time" and I say please help me Sweet Jesus ! Its early in the day, maybe things will turn around, if not there is tomorrow !! GOD bless and try not to stress0

Sometimes I get really depressed, which can become a downward spiral of negativity about everything: my relationships, my current life, my job, and everything makes me feel angry.
Over the years I have learned to notice it before it gets really bad, although I don't always succeed in changing how I feel at the time. But when you start to say how you feel out loud and people show they care, that is the thing that can help keep us from doing destructive things. Dove - we care about seeing you succeed and we all believe in you!
On the flip side, be patient with yourself. You have just decreased your daily calorie intake from 5000 to 1500 (if I read you right). I wonder if a physician or dietition would recommend such a drastic change all at once? Plus, you have the Lord on your side. I can't speak for Him, but I am sure He already sees you as a beautiful Creation, someone who can go back to living a new, healthier life.
Rome wasn't built in a day!0
