New & need help!

Hi I just started my diet yesterday. I have tried others before with no success. I have a late night munchie problem. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fight it? I eat good all day, jog in the evenings with my dog. I tend to lose weight pretty fast, but after a week or two I lose motivation. How do you get motivated again to keep going? And what about belly fat? That's my biggest problem.I've been fighting it since my son was born three years ago and it's just getting worse over the years. I need help, motivation & friends!

    I'll be your friend :-) I don't eat late at night anymore, but it helps that I don't go downstairs at all (to the kitchen) after we put the kids in bed. Last thing I want is to wake them back up once they're down, lol

    Welcome!

    I've had issues in the past with munchies, but have been doing good this time around. I've adopted a 5 meal diet of 3-500 calories per meal and that has helped with any cravings. Using this site as well as another site have also helped keep me motivated. As far as the belly fat, maybe try a workout program that targets that area? There's a fun one that I could recommend.

    I also have the late night munchies. The only thing I can say is to try to stay busy, and stay clear off the kitchen where the temptations are.
    Motivation? I also have a huge problem with that and have not found a solution. You would think the loss of weight would motivate but for me it doesn't.
    I hope you find helpful hints and if you get any on staying motivated...please pass it onto me...lol!

    hey welcome to mfp , have only been here 5 days myself but am finding it really helpfull and the people on here are friendly and so helpfull. i too used to late night snack but now i try to stay away from the kitchen and distract myself from these cravings.

    as for motivation i am usually terrible but i found a dress recently in a store i would never normally go in because i wouldt be able to fit thier clothes on my little toe so am determind to get into that dress before the year out and so far that is what is keeping me motivated so maybe try to find something you really really want and set a goal i hope this helps , please feel free to add me if you like
