Timex T5G971 - Anybody use one?

Looking at heart rate monitors and this one seems pretty good from the reviews and consumer reports. It's reasonably priced as well. Any and all feedback appreciated.

    Don't buy it!! I bought that one because consumer reports recomended it and it's a piece of trash!! I bought the Polar FT4 and I love it. I think you can find it for a comparable price online.

    Dang well I guess I'm going to find out because it is already bought for me. I should have it tomorrow. It did get a ton of good reviews so I hope I get lucky. If not I'll be sending it back to Amazon.

    So I got my Timex in but I'm not opening it yet. I am going to try the sportline one without the chest band first. thanks for the feedback.

    I have one! I love it! I bought mine 3 weeks ago and so far it is working Great! It is easy to use and gives accurate readings. My neighbor bought one @ the same time I did and she loves hers too. We bought them off of amazon and with shipping it was $51. Well worth it! :)

    BCarrasco13 - Thanks for the feedbac!!! It did getthe majority of really good reviews and like with everything it got some not so good reviews. I did purchase it from Amazon. I'm gonna give it a try tonight.
