Generally the week before a race is a taper week- I would search it up and see maybe what a Hal Higdons week befroe the race looks like and structure your training this week around that (Or use runners world or pretty much any training program you like the looks of).0

Do a few miles today and a few on friday. Seems to make sense to take the day off before the race, but if you have several days off in a row you might feel sluggish on race day. Just what works for me anyway!0

How much do you run normally?
I run a lot of Half Marathons and I usually taper off the week before a race with my last run being three days before.
Being 10K, maybe take a day or two off before or do some cross training instead.
The idea of a taper is to allow your injuries, stresses and strains to heal before you race.0
