S.B.F Challenge...July 18

Good morning ladies. I decided to post early. I had a horrible night last night! Our son woke up crying twice, the tornado sirens in the next town were going off for like 30 minutes for no reason, and then later my husband had one of those nightmares that jerked him awake which woke me up. I had crazy stupid dreams. Ugh. It was just bad.
Maybe doing some taebo first thing will help me wake up. I'm going to try for 45 minutes. Then I have like two hours of grocery shopping to do later this morning. I should burn close to 700+ cals.
I am really having trouble getting my water in. Oh yeah and those two pounds came back. :laugh: :noway: Oh well. Probably from not drinking water. I'll do better today.

Big hugs to you mechanicmom, yikes. . .sounds like a bumpy night!
Today is another hot, humid, polluted day in the forecast. I've been reading about the pollution in Beijing for the Olympians. . .my hopes and prayers are with them. I don't think our smog can compete with that, and I could barely breathe outside yesterday.
Anyways. . .
today is yoga and I'll try to walk either there or back. Oh, and water (lots) and vits.

Then schedule a snore fest on the couch! LOL I use to tuck my son behind me on the couch with him sitting up and me laying down. Give him a bowl with fresh popcorn and a favorite movie. I never could sleep with his terrible sleeping habits. He's 10 now, nothing has changed with his sleeping, so I just flop on the couch. :laugh: He can get his own popcorn!0 -
Sorry to hear all that melissa! :frown: I hope your day goes well! :flowerforyou: What I do to get all my water in, I have a water bottle thats one litre, I can finish that by lunch, I fill it up and have the second litre done by dinner. That helps me. Without my bottle I don't get all my water haha
Today I am going to see how long I can last doing Jillian Michaels 30day shred! Last night I had a donut and some chips. I know Im going to do better today, but I want to work extra hard! I may go on my stationary bike as well!0 -
Good morning ladies. Overly humid & muggy already here in NY.
I did Turbo Jam first thing this a.m. and I also have grocery shopping to do but I think I'll wait and mow the lawn first so I can hang out in the nice air conditioned store laterwhen it gets more humid outside.

MM - if the tornado sirens went off, I'd freak. Last time I heard sirens was during the Jarrell tornado - but those were real - and the sky was green - so I was already in hiding.

Well I forced myself to go to the gym. I told myself if after 30 minutes I wanted to leave, I could. Well, I did about 45 minutes on the elliptical, on easy, and came home to do a slow 30 minute walk on the treadmill. Then, I felt like absolute garbage last night. Feel pretty bad today as well. I just sent out an email requesting a sub for Saturday's 3 yoga classes. Hopefully I get one, because if I feel like this, I'll be a crappy yoga teacher.
So today is resting. No workout whatsoever. Yes, a day off. I might even sit on the couch and watch television.0 -

Oh I LOVE it!! It was great! I did good on the cardio (Since thats all ive been doing when I do exercise) but during the strength training! OUCH! hahaha I did poorly!! But I plan to keep it up! With it I burned the most cals as well. about 280 for a little less than 30mins.
Was it you who mentioned it yesterday? I couldnt remember who it was and I didnt want to try and find the post haha0 -
I did it! :bigsmile: five miles on the track today! I kept thinking, it's only one more mile, it's only one more mile. I felt so good I even did hill repeats after all was said & done!
Won't be checking in this weekend... taking our 2 year old to the zoo for the first time!! He's so excited!

Hi everyone, I know I haven't been here in awhile but I get busy and then it's time for bed so what can you do.
Today was 3 hours of housecleaning, 2 hours of gardening. No real cardio of any kind.
I'm still holding my own, not gaining but not losing either. Next week we start cleaning buses for the next year so I'll be moving more lol.
Hot all day until a big thunderstorm blew through and then it cooled off so that's when I chose to garden:bigsmile:
Will try to check in more often. I do better when I am accountable.0
