confused.com!

please help, when i started here in january MFP placed my daily allowance at 1200 calories. im 5'2, 35 and have a fairly active job (on my feet 9-5 in a pharmacy). i do 4 gym sessions a week (2 very intense & 2 moderate) and i walk everywhere. i still haven't had much sucess in the weight loss. i've just read a post about possibly eating too less calories and i should up my daily calories? is this correct? what should i be aiming for?
