Just started weightloss with no weightloss =(

I have been 144 lbs for a while now. I am 5 foot 3 inches and have been skinnier before so I know its not "my body type". I have 4 kids and every kid it gets ahrder to lose the weight. So I have been eating healthier and watching my portions for a while now and nothing 10 days ago I got really serious. I have been maintaining my calorie goal with a lil give about 2 days out of the 10 and I have worked out pretty consistently minus a couple days do to family issues. I started with 25 min and have worked my way up to 50 min workouts. I have not lost any weight at all, no inches, nothing. It really hurts my motivation and I feel stuck and confused. I get that ppl have plateaus but I am at the beginning of my weight loss so I should have seen results. I was looking for a lb a week and I think I actually gained half a lb. Do any of you have any suggestions? or have any of you ran into this problem adn how did you over come it....in a cheap effective way?
