logging time at the gym???

I typically do cardio or circuit videos at home, but decided to try the gym yesterday. I wore my HRM the whole time (1 hour) and burned 674 calories, half my time was spent on the recumbent bike the other half on weight machines. Should I log all of those calories as cardio for 1 hour? Or half? Enter all the strength work I did? Both? Help! I am a tad nervous because I ate back the calories already :-(

To your body, it won't matter how you log it.
You could always just make a custom exercise and then log it. Like Bike and Weights. Or you could log it as Gym Time. And then use the notes field to be more specific about what you did.
Log it however you want to keep track of your exercise. If it matters to you how much cardio you did and how much time you spent on weights, log them separately.0 -
I agree with tabbychiro. I would just add a new exercise that basically explains what you did like bike and weights and put in the calories total. That way it logs what you did and the calories, but as stated before, your body doesn't really know the difference, it just knows it burned that many calories at the gym.0

personally when i have sitiuations like that i just log it as all cardio because i dont even keep track of my strength traing ( mostly cause it seems to much info to log and i know where im at anyways)0

I'm not sure about this BUT I think if you put anything under strength it doesn't add the calories back. That's just to keep track of the reps and weight you use. Like I said, not sure about that......seem to remember reading it somewhere but not sure where.0
