strength training calorie burns

I hadnt been logging my weight training under cardio to get a "calorie burn", but I did do it today to see what happened - what I would get, because today is my "day off" from cardio. Here's the question, should I be doing this normally and if so, are those some calories that I should consume a portion of?

I log my weight training as "strength training"...I really work up a sweat and get my heartrate up doing it though, so I know I am burning the calories.....as for eating them - the answer is yes (however, I eat them when I am hungry) and if not, then I don't.....although you will get alot of opinions that you should eat all your exercise calories ....but I eat when I am hungry...and I never eat less than 1200 calories anyway so I don't worry about the "body going into starvation mode" concept because I fuel myself when I need it....0
