New and needing inspiration

Hi Guys,

I joined the site last year and was successful in losing some weight but once I was happy with my body I went back to my usual ways and it has crept back on.

My problem is that I don't have a great deal to lose, only 16 pounds but I'm quite a small person at 5'2" with a small build so I can't carry any extra weight.

I keep having the mentality that as I don't have too much to lose I can have that biscuit here or there, but when I look in the mirror I'm still unhappy!

Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks

Sam

    Hi Sam,

I'm taller and having the same problem. I achieved my goal and got lazy and let it creep back on. Weight doesn't discriminate based on height! : ) It might not show as readily on a taller person but it's just as frustrating. I have lower back problems so as soon as the weight creeps back on I start to feel it in my back.

The holidays were my downfall. I was eating more, not watching what I was eating and getting less exercise. But I've re-focused and am back on track. It helps me to stay focused by keeping the food diary and weighing myself every morning when I get up. And don't let up when your at or near your goal!

    Good luck...
