    I have BPV, and my husband has Meniere's disease. So we both get bouts of vertigo. Although my husband's is much worse than mine. If the vertigo persists, you can take an over the counter med called Meclazine. Unfortunately , a side effect is drowsiness. It puts me out for hours.

    I have Meniere's disease. I've been suffering with it for over 18 years. I have a constant ringing in my left ear that ranges from a dull ring to a all out roar. It's accompanied with 85% hearing loss in that ear and occasional vertigo. Having to crawl on the floor to the bathroom and then plan on hanging my head over a five gallon bucket until I stop throwing up. After such an episode I can plan on staying in bed for 24-48 hours sleeping..Sucks!
