By now, y'all should know that if I'm up at the butt-crack of dawn, must mean I'm teaching yoga. Yep, even though I don't feel well. I couldn't find a sub. Oh well, by the third hour I should be downright goofy - "ok, class, we are going to do an hour of savasana." I think I can make it though all three classes though. I will focus on the fact that I can go home and climb back in bed.

Took yesterday off. Did some cooking and went to a near-by small grocery store, but otherwise sat around all day. I still got 3000 more steps than the average American (according to "Super Size Me", it's 4,200) - yep, I get more exercise when I'm sick than average people do when they are well. If you don't have a pedometer yet, get one! It will be the best $15 for your health you spend.

Happy Workouts!

Hey, you are in my dreams teaching yoga! (I confess that I have my days when I dream of that. . .but it would probably be hard to stay still for an hour)

Today is weights and cardio. I'm aiming for 500 calories. . .I still have a tiny headache (I'm blaming the smog) that I can't get rid of. Also, there's been rain in the forecast for nearly a week. . .and still no rain. Maybe I'm just a human barometer!

    Good Morning!

I just completed a 2.5 mile walk outdoors and BL power sculpt level 2...

Today's plan is lots of water!!!!!!!!! Last night I accidentally put real pepperoni on my homemade pizza instead of the turkey pepperoni that I meant to use.. note to self---->read package carefully! I didn't realize what I had done until I took the pizza out of the oven and there was grease all over it! I ate two small pieces... and I feel sluggish this morning. I blame the pepperoni.

    Have a great
    S A T U R D A Y!

New workout experience: (or at least one I haven't had in ages). I had a session with a trainer today. . .and she worked me so hard that I felt like I was going to hurl. (cool, huh?) [how did I turn into a person that thinks this is cool? wth is wrong with me?] So, I only got in 300 calories at the gym. I'll probably do some dance/cardio later to make up my difference.

The training sessions are my new "reward" for a completed chart (two completed charts per session). I have also turned into a person that rewards myself for exercising with. . .more exercising. I am now officially an insane person.

Back from yoga. ok, I was the breathing more heavily and sweating more than anyone in class. Time for a nap. Hmm, rewarding exercise with exercise - it actually crossed my mind to join two gyms so I would have more of a choice of classes. I told myself that was crazy talk.

Ok I did nothing today! I went down the river with my kids and dad, then I went for a little (but not a hard) hike up a different river.

Today was a day of outside exercise. First thing, I spent an hour mowing the yard. Then I vacuumed the pool. Then we took a short bike ride before a late lunch-early dinner. After we ate, we swam for an hour and then went for an hour long bike ride & got caught in the rain-very refreshing cause it's super humid here. We got home & shot some hoops-then went for another walk. Very refreshing break from sweating in front of the TV for an hour.
