Does anyone else watch these? If so, what are your favorite shows?

I like the Barefoot Contessa, Chucks Day Off and French Cooking at Home.

Suprisingly, a lot of the recipes are pretty healthy.

i stay away from those channels. they make me very hungry and since i would have to go to the store to get the ingrediants i end up impulse buying alot of crap i really don't need to be eating. i also prerecord my shows and fast forward through all the McDonald and Bk commercials.

I don't watch any of the cooking shows...just had to say that I love your profile picture and wanted to say GO BOILERS!

I am not a fan of cooking so really avoid those shows like the plague!

I watch - and I even tried out for the Next Food Network Star! LOL

I like 30 Minute Meals, Barefoot Contessa, and anything by Robyn Miller. I try to change up the recipes to keep them healthy, but they give me great ideas.

I like Giada, and I like alot of the food Contessa makes but she annoys the holy hell out of me as a person--like half the show is devoted to table settings or some other ridiculous thing. And it's a level of pretension that even I, as someone whose friend's husband recently called a 'pretentious f*** (in a nice, funny, joking around way)', find irritating, lol. I love Iron Chef, Throwdown (though Bobby Flay can get annoying too), etc.

The Food Network is like foodie porn... I watch it all the time... especially the ones that cook stuff i can never eat... lol. But I also like to try and make healthier versions of the stuff I see on there. :D

I love Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, Iron Chef America, Food Network Challenge, Chef at Home, and i miss Paula Deen so much... "you can never have too much butter" so wrong but soo good... lol

P.S. Man vs Food is another show on another network I love!

My sisters kids love Man Vs Food!

    They find the guy hilarious!

They get the biggest kick out of seeing him lose. :-(

We call Giada "Cooking with Cleavage". I really only watch Challenge and Iron Chef.

I get most of my food shows on the Travel channel. I  Anthony Bourdain.

I love Chopped on Food Network, and Restaurant impossible. I am trying to get more into cooking (that way I have control over what we eat and how healthy it is) and those shows are intruiging.
I loved watching Worst Cooks in America, but that season is over now :-(

    LOL!

I forgot, Chopped is my favorite of all time.

I like the ingenuity that it takes.

I can get into most all of the shows, but....

I heart Alton Brown -- like, HEART him.

    A lot.

    It's kind of sick. :)

And Paula Dean, too (she's a dirty, dirty girl). Anyone else know what I mean about her - lol?

Ellie Krieger has a lot of low cal recipies and I like Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee. I love cooking with fresh ingredients, but sometimes there just isn't time. Sandra uses a lot of packaged items that she manages to pull together into good meals. And although I prided myself in watching no reality tv for a long time, I must admit that I am addicted to cooking challenges....Iron Chef, Chopped, Next Food Network Star.....the list goes on.
