Ok, I have certain days that I workout certain body areas. Days 1 and 4 I do a short cardio, and work upper body (arms, shoulders, back, etc) with some abs. Days 2 and 5 I do a short cardio and work the lower body. Then on day 3 ( and often times 6 and 7) I try and double the cardio time I do on the other days, with a lot more ab work as well.
So....I tend to have the thought that if I miss a day I have to start my days over...meaning that my muscles are getting worked more than my heart. So when you guys miss your "designated day" do you workout the next day as if you have NOT missed the day or as if you DID? Meaning yesturday was my cardio day...so should I go on to arms as if I had done the cardio, or should I just make today my cardio day? I know bizarre question, I was just wondering what other people here did when this happened.

I am a "gym class" junkie, so I just head to whatever class there happens to be the next day. So, for me, I don't start over, I just pick up where I would have been if I hadn't missed my workout.
