Hello all! Like in the subject line it seems like I've been dieting my whole life with 0 results! So I got this app about a week ago and got over my fears of going to the gym with my husband and have strarted working out with him and his buddies. Much to my surprise they have been very supportive of me and don't outwardly appear to mind having a girl trash their testosterone party!
My biggest vices are Coke/Mountain Dew and pasta! Ohhh how I love pasta! But over the past week I have had 0 cokes and no pasta!!!! It's been all water for me and to tell y'all the truth...I hate water! And I've lost 2 lbs. Woo Hoo!
I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all and am hoping that I can stay motivated for more than a month!

Have you ever tried spaghetti squash? I use it instead of pasta. It has 66 calories for 8 oz and only 10 carbs. 8 oz of spaghetti squash is considered one serving. 8 oz. of pasta has over 500 calories and over 100 carbs. A serving size of pasta is only 2 ounces. I don't think I will ever go back.
  • I've never even heard of it! I will def try it tho! Thanks!

Welcome....I am kinda new myself! You sound like me. I love my COKE!!!!! When I am having a bad day or moment...I get a coke. Not so much anymore but it is one thing that haunts me. Good luck with your journey :) You can do anything you set your mind to do!

I hate drinking plain water, too! Try adding Crystal Lite or a slice of lemon or lime to the water - lo cal & not soooo boring!
