Does beef really have that much sodium?

I haven't eaten yet, but was logging my calories in advance. I'm making kabobs using eye of round beef. It says that 8 oz has more than 1500 grams??? That seems very high, but I could be wrong.

Anyone?

No way--must be the way it is listed as cooked or something.

Hmmm, not sure what you're looking at either. I just checked the food database for "eye of round" and all that is listed there, for raw meat, is 60 mgs per 4 ozs. so I'm not sure where you got that information.

    Servings: of 4ozs.

I just used the line Item USDA eye of round...It has to be a typo on the sodium. see line item below:

Usda - Usda Select Eye of Round Boneless Roast, 8 oz 280 calories 1,560mg sodium
