I used to read about people who found it 'hard' to eat all their calories and I used to think 'yeah right'.   Now I find myself in the same situation as it's easy to eat all your calories if you're happy to eat junk but on healthy food it's a lot harder.

So, I've realised that if I can't eat more I'll need to cut down my exercise significantly so that I'm not creating such a huge deficit throughout the week.

I'm scared to exercise less but seeing as what I'm doing at the moment (working out 6x per wk) isn't working at all (no weight or inch loss in about 6 wks) I need to try something different. So here it goes........ eeeeek!

I'm going to do 2 x weekly strength sessions (one with my personal trainer)

2 x times interval training and bootcamp one per week.

This is place of:
mon - high impact aerobics and a spin class, Tues - personal training, Wednesday - weights class and a bit or cardio, Thursday - boxing, friday personal training, sun - body pump and treadmil intervals.

Any tips or suggestions would be useful

I've decided to do the same since I've been falling short of reaching daily calorie goals- by about 200/400 calories AFTER workouts. I guess 200 is not bad. But I'm thinking of cutting some workouts.. I'm used to exercising about 6 days a week for 30 mins. I eat healthy also yet don't want to stuff myself with unhealthy calories trying to reach my daily calorie intake. I think thats a good idea for you also, but I feel so guilty not exercising! I've only been keeping track of my weight for a few days, so I don't know if exercise is giving me progress or not. I asked a similar question but most people agreed that going to the gym is fine, even with remaining calories. Curious to see what more people have to say since I basically just rambled lol

I'm actually doing the same thing. I'm finding that I am overexercising, and getting burned out. I can't eat all the calories back, and if I cut down on my carbs (which not only makes me feel MUCH better, but really keeps the weight down), I eat less, and don't need to work out so hard. Consequently, I have more time in my schedule for other things, which is great. Life isn't always just about working out.

@ dgfurman - I am so with you on this. It will feel strange for me at first but I'm confident I'll see results and feel a lot less tired:smile:
