Add some heat and spice, such as chili powder or red pepper flakes, to your food throughout the day. Research shows that eating spicy foods can boost your metabolism. It can also slow down your eating since you might eat more deliberately when your food is spicy. The effects of spicy foods might not be long-lasting, so eat them throughout the day to reap the maximum benefits!

This is true. If you research the benefits of spices online you will find all kinds of great information about what we can get from them (other than extra flavor!)0

I put it in my eggs, soup, rice, mixed in other spices with meat, all sorts of stuff!!! YUMMY!!
The only thing that sucks is I can't make it as spicy as I would like most of the time since my hubby can't handle it that hot.0 -

I took mine for a week with breakfast AND milk and it still did a number on me. I have reflux anyway, I'll have to try it again when the reflux is better. Dumb bellies!!0

Speaking of taking spicy foods with breakfast... I once accidentally put cayenne pepper on my oatmeal instead of cinnamon. (NOT a morning person.) I thought it was really good and still do it every once in a while. Definitely was a surprise that first time, though.0

I may have to invest in these! I do not like spicy foods---it physically hurts my mouth.0
