eating the same foods?

I find myself eating the same foods day after day-now, they're healthy and nutritious and filling and I look forward to them and enjoy them,and I'm losing weight, but I'm wondering if it would be better to make myself switch up more OR stick with what seems to be working. Any ideas?

    Well, switching up here and there would probably help keep you from getting bored. You should check out diaries on this site for ideas.

    for me eating the same foods is the easiest. i will make a big dinner monday and save leftovers for the rest of the week. Eating the same thing, takes the thought out of it. so instead of saying, "oh i had a bad day, i deserve something yummy" i already know what i will be eating.i think it makes you look more at food, as something you need to live, than something that makes you feel better or whatever other reasons you may have for eating bad stuff

    I eat a lot of the same foods too. I don't think it will affect anything and you only need to switch it up if you want the variety. The one important thing is varying the amount of calorie intake...but you can eat the same food just in different amounts! Good luck!

    My trainer eats virtually the same things day after day. He likes it, it's easy for him and he gets great results that way. However he's also careful to take supplements because he knows an unvaried diet does not offer the well rounded nutrition that is optimal.

    Well are you losing weight eating the same foods? It never hurts to change things up a bit but if you aren't bored with it and it's working, I'd continue it. I get bored easily with the same foods and like a variety but different strokes for different folks:) Good luck to you:)

    I tend to eat the same foods because it is easier...not much thinking to it. Plus, when I buy groceries, I know what I need so it is faster and less waste because I do not buy too much.

    I haven't started yet, but am going to start taking a vitamin because I'm sure not varying your foods, would make it easier to miss out on nutrients that your bodies need.
