I really need someone to work out with/ run with. But the only person with my kind of lifestyle/schedule that is willing to get up at 4:30 in the morning with me who has 2 young kids and can't eat dinner until 7pm b/c of work and blah blah blah more details is myself. :) lol.

I really wish I could just create another me to give me company! Anyone else??

That's why I gotta outta running I was running all of the time last year when I had a running partner, I felt so much better my calves were toning up and my upper abs were gettin some definition. Grrr, I just don't have that extra push doin it on my own. It sucks!

I found out when I ran my first 5K last year that I run faster with people and wish I had someone to always run with!

I'm with ya on having myself as a partner! But I would need to be the partner that would push faster, farther...

what about getting a book on tape or something to lose yourself in while you run? I know it's not another person, but it might give you something to look forward to and keep yourself busy with while working out.

Libraries of course have the tapes and CDs - but many also have digital / MP3 copies you can "check out" online and put on your ipod, phone etc.

I listen to them when I swim laps and it kills the time awesomely!
