I had a Very Good Morning. Woke up earlier than usual. Did WiiFit exercises for an hour. Did yoga from yogatoday.com for half an hour. was toot ired, so didn't finish the one hour class. And cooked Lunch. Had an awesome fruit smoothie. And here I am, wide awake and energetic at office. How's your Monday morning all people out there?0

Monday morning? I put 3 pounds on even so I am below my daily cals but lost a couple of inches overall. Did a 12 miles walk with the dogs in 5 hours and today I feel (and the dogs) sore. Would like to start Yoga but my back is aching and I am still tired. Maybe I should go to bed as I don't start work until 8 pm.

2 nights of drinking for me also, was not in a good place on saturday. :blushing:
all fine now, and no one needs to worry, no damage done to the precious skin and i remembered the lotion.0 -
My weekend could have been better... like LESS RAIN!0 -
Had a good weekend. We had a heat wave, so not very good outside weather....but I got two good workouts in and caught up with friends I hadn't seen in awhile! One I ran into at the gym on Saturday and the other I went to have lunch with yesterday. We also went to church yesterday morning.
I can't wait until it's a LITTLE cooler so we can spend more time at the park. My son doesn't do well with 95 and super humid! He lasts about 15 minutes and then gets cranky! (LIKE ME!! HEHE)
Hope you all have a GREAT week!

I had a good weekend, participated in a benefit singing for a family who's son passed away and they didn't have the money to bury him. Things like that restore my faith in humanity, it's a small community and people came out in droves and gave, gave, gave. There was more than enough money raised to pay off their debt at the funeral home!!! I was exhausted from all the work after though, but it was a great workout--helping clean the church where it was held.....I had this HUGE mop that I used to mop the whole fellowship hall and I still have sore back muscles from that mop!!!
It is so HOT down here, supposed to hit 100 on the mercury today with a heat index of 110!!!! The humidity is horrible too! I'm not hoping anything bad for anyone, but I'm looking forward to Tropical Storm Dolly coming inland because the storm is so big that we'll get rain from it which will cool us down a bit!!! It's so hot that even the gym gets too hot to workout in later in the afternoon!!
Hope everyone has a great Monday and an even better week!!!0 -
Great weekend, ate too much but back on the wagon today! My girlfriends and I went to the MOST FABULOUS brunch, it was worth every calorie at Salty's on Alki which is on the waterfront in Seattle and it was BEAUTIFUL. If you're gonna blow it, this was the way to do it, so no regrets. Plus, then we walked along the waterfront and later walked the mall, so it was a wash. That was my only meal of the day, I am never full all day, so this was a first.
Step class always manages to kick my rear back into gear, so that is where I am headed right now! Happy Monday, Happy New Week!0 -

Hey just think about all those calories you burned pushing that mop!!
Seriously, what a great community you must live in to come together for this family during a tragic time. Interesting that the theme of our sermon this week was 'Making a Difference' - how timely and universal.0 -
I had a great weekend (and am paying for it today). I spent all weekend at the lake and out on the water. However, I am severely sunburned (despite multiple sunblock applications) It is scary how intense the sun is getting.
So two days of lounging around on the boat, swimming and lots of drinking and eating. Makes me sad to be back in the office today. :grumble:
I didn't watch my calories this weekend but all the laughing, swimming and climing in and out of the boat...I lost a pound! Woo hoo!:bigsmile:0 -
My weekend was amazing. Spent a ton of it at the girl's lakehouse, rowing, etc. Then yesterday we all went out to play tennis for about 4 hours. Ton of fun both places0

That brought a tear to my eye! I'm so glad to have read this on a Monday morning, after I've had a terrible weekend, surrounded by a bridezillas and her wanna-be-mean-girl bridesmaids. Hearing that story helped bring up my own faith in humanity!0
