I want to go to the gym today, but have no energy. I feel like I should, but I also feel that once I get there I won't try as hard because I have no energy. Any tips??

Take the first step and get there... once you get that positive flow of endorphins the enthusiasm will come.

Usally that is the most gratifying work out. You will be glad that you went!

Only one tip... Go!!! You'll feel so much better after working out. Honestly, some of my best workouts are on days that I feel this way (strange, but true).

    Good luck!

I have been eating energy bars that are kind of higher in carbs but they are low in fat and have good amount of protein. They work pretty well for me.

I would go. I know it's difficult to get yourself there after work, but I always find I wonder why I didn't even try if I don't go. Once you are there--whether working hard or not, you will be working. Even a leisurely stroll around the track/on the treadmill is good for you.

Also, (I'm not sure where you live) what about taking a walk outside?

You don't have to work out hard for a workout to be beneficial. Maybe you won't get a lot of calorie burn, but you will work your heart.
