i had a nordictrack one for a while, but it wasn't designed for the workouts that i was giving it. i recently bought a sole e35 and LOVE it! it's very durable, quiet and smooth. it has a good warranty and got some good reviews. i'm really enjoying it!

I currently have a nordic trac. I really like it. It has an adjustable stride length (I'm 5'10" so I have a long stride) and is very sturdy. It holds MY big rear end with no problem, lol! It's quiet and has several good pre-programmed workouts. It is also capable of running programs with iFit.

I got mine from HSN.com and it's a Proform! I love it and I am at a point now that I can put it n an incline of 5 and get a really low impact intense workout! The one I have has a speaker and a jack to plug your IPod right not it and also a place for these SD card workouts! It came with the first SD card and it's a six week workout by Jillian Michaels. I think there are 4 different SD cards! It's basically Jillian Michaels walking through each workout and giving you tips. Plus when I got it, it was n something called Easy Pay through HSN. That means one payment is made to your credit card, it's delivered, and in subsequent months there are charges. Kind of layaway but you get it right away don't have to wait for it to be paid off! It was the only way that I could get it.

I have a gym quality Precor. Has lasted for about years so far (not that I used it consistently, unfortunately). Lots of pre-programmed stuff, measures heart beat etc. I never regretted the extra I spent for the quality. They go on sale around here quite often so check your fitness specialty stores.
