Anybody know how I can prevent or at least reduce the amount of loose skin resulting from weight loss?

loose it slowly, give your body and your skin time to firm back up, if there is a drastic change in your weight QUICKLY is when you are going to get a lot of extra skin. I don't have very much, just a little actually but that is more from my c-section than the weight loss. I took about 1.5 years to loose the bulk of my weight

These wraps from www.itworks.net really help tighten up lose skin as your losing weight. I've tried one myself and I lost 2 1/4 inches in the first 45 minutes.

I agree with this and with exercise. So far I have gone with low impact exercise.

ok and after the 45 mins when you took them off, a day or two or a week later where the inches still gone?

Well I only did it about a week ago, but since then, yes, the inches are still gone.

You pair the wrap with a healthy diet, exercise and drinking lots of water and the inches stay off. You don't do the wraps and then just eat what eve you want afterwards.

its my understanding that you need to do strength training in order to firm "everything" up,,,,but ultimately its the elastin that you have in your skin that will make the final decision as to whether it goes back all the way or not. the more elastic the skin, the less noticeable it will be.

for example, I have had 4 very large babies, and 2 pretty close in age, and i'm about to turn 40,,,,chances are, all the elasticity in my lower abdomen is gone, but with alot of strength training in my core and it should stay to a min. good luck to you
